Each pregnancy is different so we ask that you keep open and honest conversations about how you are feeling so we can provide the best support for you.

From around 16 weeks of pregnancy, we ask that you join our Beginner Base class.

Some important things to consider when exercising pregnant

- Keep cool and hydrated

- Take breaks when needed

- If not feeling well, take a break and let your instructor know immediately (refer to brochure above for warning signs to stop exercising)

- No supine activity (laying on your back) post 28 weeks of pregnancy

- Avoid prolonged isometric holds (e.g. do not hold a plank) you want to keep moving and breathing to avoid risk of hypertension

- Avoid activities that may have risk of falling (don't worry, our Beginner Base class is always programmed to be prenatal friendly so we will always avoid a fall risk)

- There is a small risk of overstretching due to our bodies naturally producing the hormone relaxin during pregnancy. We simply ask that you avoid pushing into a stretch too far and do not join our Stretchy Base class).
