Read through our class types below to find a class that is best for you.

If new to reformer, we ask for you to join our Beginner Base class as your first booking.

BASE BODY

Class style: Reformer

 

Our signature reformer class.

 

A dynamic flowing class, focused on functional movements designed to create length and strength within your body and get your heart rate up! Our classes keep you challenged with our variety of options and Pilates props. The ultimate full body workout which will leave you secretly (or maybe not secretly) cursing our instructors but at the same time wanting to book in your next class!

 

Suitable for all fitness levels. We provide layers of progressions and regressions within each class so you can choose the option that feels good to you.

 

Spice level: Moderate - Spicy

Not suitable for prenatal during the second and third trimesters. Not suitable for those with injuries.

BEGINNER BASE

Class style: Reformer

 

This is one for our beginners, prenatal or postnatal, people returning back to exercise or those feeling like a slower paced workout. Sometimes you just need to move but you're not up to a fast-paced workout. Our Beginner Base class is here to help.

 

A little slower and less dynamic than our Base Body signature class but you will still get a total body workout and leave the class feeling energised and challenged. This class is about covering the basics while still working the whole body. Suitable for all fitness levels.  If you are prenatal or postnatal, please ensure you have your health providers clearance before joining our classes.

 

Spice level: Mild - Moderate

BASE POWER

Class style: Reformer

​

Get ready to lift, move, and power up!
Heavier springs, added weights, and fast, dynamic movements make this class intense—but oh-so-rewarding. Not your typical flow, we focus on exercises that build strength, stamina, and confidence. Walk out feeling stronger and unstoppable after every session!

 

Spice Level: Spicy

​

Not suitable for prenatal or recently postnatal. Not suitable for those with injuries.

​

*IMPORTANT* You must have completed at least 10 of our Base Body classes before joining Base Power so you know how to move through the class quickly and safely.

 

Not suitable for those with injuries.

This is a strong class, aimed at building strength and working muscle groups to fatigue. You will need to know how to use the reformer before joining this class.

STRETCHY BASE

Class style: Reformer

 

A slower paced class focusing on stretchy flows.

 

 Leave the class feeling lengthened and stretched. You will move through the class flowing between movements slowly and spending more time in each stretch.

​

Aimed at providing more relaxation to your day than an intense workout, joining this class is a beautiful way to end your day and bring more mindfulness into your week.

​

BASE JUMP

Class style: Reformer

 

Ready for a fast paced, challenging and FUN workout? Get ready to bounce, glide and hop through a fun 45 minute full body workout.

 

This class combines our Signature Base Body class with the jump board to create a fun and high intensity workout. Our Base Jump class is low impact, high intensity - safe for your joints.

 

Our Jump class enables you to get your cardio fix with the benefit of using the reformer!

 

Spice level: Moderate - Spicy

 

Not suitable for prenatal during the second and third trimesters. Not suitable for those with injuries.

BASE CONTROLOGY

Class style: Reformer [Advanced]

​

Contrology was the name Joseph Pilates gave to his method of exercise. 

This class focuses on the original Contrology techniques and exercises that Joseph Pilates taught as well as Classical methods taught by his successors. 

This is full body controlled style of class focused on form and pushing yourself to the limits. It is not a flow style class and you will stick with the same exercise sequence for one month before moving onto the next.

One for all the Pilates enthusiasts and anyone wishing to dive deeper into their Pilates practice. 

​

Due to the nature of the exercises in this class, we recommend you to have completed at least 10 of our Base Body classes to ensure you are familiar with a full range of repertoire before joining Base Contrology. 

​

Spice level: Moderate - Spicy

MAT ENERGY

Class style: Mat

 

Our signature mat class.

 

Traditional Pilates exercises infused with a contemporary edge to bring you an open level, dynamic flowing mat class. This class is focused on functional movements designed to create length and strength within your body and get your heart rate up! We focus on alignment and form during your 45 minute session making sure you get the most out of each session.

​

Suitable for all fitness levels. 

 

Spice level: Moderate - Spicy​

Not suitable for prenatal during the second and third trimesters.

HIIT PILATES MAT

Class style: Mat

HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training Pilates Style

​

This high-energy fusion class combines the precision of Pilates with the intensity of HIIT. Expect dynamic mat-based sequences, core-focused intervals, and bursts of cardio designed to sculpt, strengthen, and elevate your heart rate. This class is perfect for anyone looking to level up their Pilates practice and increase fitness with a faster paced workout.

Suitable for all fitness levels. 

Modifications are offered, however this is not suitable for those with injuries.

MAT CONTROL

Class type: Mat

This isn’t about rushing. It’s about tuning in, feeling every rep, and owning every inch of control. You’ll leave stronger, more centered, and deeply connected to your body.


This is Pilates, stripped back to the mat.
Driven by your breath, guided by your focus, and flowing with purpose.
With the support of props, each class challenges your stability and control in new ways—building deep, lasting strength from the inside out.

SLOW FLOW + YIN YOGA

Class style: Yoga

​

A slow flow yoga class for all fitness levels, this class moves through a slow Hatha flow finishing with a Yin practice to deeply relax the body and mind. 

​

Suitable for beginners to advanced.

​

Due to the nature of the stretch focused class, this is not suited for prenatal. 

​

Spice level: Mild - Moderate

 HATHA YOGA

Class Style: Yoga


Our Hatha yoga classfocuses on building strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Perfect for all levels, this class offers a steady and thoughtful approach to the practice, allowing you to connect deeply with your body and breath. Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, Hatha yoga provides a balanced foundation for all.

You will move  through a series of classic Hatha postures, holding each pose for several breaths to cultivate stability, flexibility, and concentration. With an emphasis on proper alignment and mindful movement, you’ll develop a deeper connection to your body’s natural rhythm.

The class will include standing poses to build strength, seated stretches to release tension, and deep relaxation to soothe the mind and body. By the end of class, you’ll leave feeling balanced, refreshed, and centered.
